Single storey extension

Many homes just require a small extension to really benefit the owner. We have a a great deal of experience in this area. From the smallest addition to a kitchen to a full wrap around extension including a swimming pool.

Our client wanted to extend his property by adding an orangery to take advantage of the fantastic river views. Th original house only had a small window overlooking the river. We also redesigned the internal layout to extend and create a fantastic spacious kitchen and utility room.

Sometimes a home really need that bit more space.

Our client’s property lies within a conservation area was accessed from a dated glazed stairway. We were able to maximise the internal space creating a new kitchen and day room. This has been done in a sympathetic manner in keeping with the area.

Loft conversion

Many properties have space in the roof that may be easily converted into an additional bedroom and en-suite. We have years of experience creating beautiful spaces.

Our client for this bungalow wanted a bigger master bedroom with an en-suite. We were able to design a solution that suited his needs with out changing the appearance for this bungalow set in this tranquil location in the New Forrest

Refurbishment

The house had been frozen in time and required a complete rewire and new heating to make habitable. Our brief was to keep as many of the original features as possible.

The original sash windows all required repair by a specialist joiner. We sourced a specialist plasterer with the rare the skills required to recreate the lost and damaged coving.

The stone bay had suffer decades of poor repairs using the wrong materials that only added to its decay. We used an experienced stone mason to remake the damaged stone bay. Specifying the correct breathable paint that would allow the stone to last.

Conservation and listed buildings

Listed buildings come with a rich history, so it’s important that any changes you make respect their character.
